Our recycling stations are easy to access in all the halls and on the loading bay. Waste such us left over paint, light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, batteries, electronics and oil can also be left at the recycling stations.
Exhibitors have an obligation to sort and recycle construction waste in special containers which Stockholmsmässan supply. To facilitate the handling of large quantities of e.g. wood it should always be placed on a pallet and be marked “waste”. No extra waste charge will then be applicable.
If material or waste is left in the stand after the move-out date it will be classified as waste and the exhibitor will then be charged accordingly for removal and sorting.
Note
The stand should be left in the same condition as it was found on arrival. This includes removal of materials such as carpet tape if you have laid the carpet yourself.

We recycle 95% of all our waste today – With your help it can be even more!
During 2011 1650 tons of waste was collected at Stockholmsmässan. This is about 95% of the total waste. The left over waste we can not recycle or use in other ways will be disposed of in an eco-friendly way.
Due to our recycling policies Stockholmsmässan has during 2011 saved and contributed:
• Metal equivalent to 4 617 bikes
• Enough combustible material such as wood to heat up 181 houses per year or 4 517 925 kwh.
• Office and corrugated paper equivalent to 1,80 hectares of forest or 1 200 trees.
• Enough clear glass to make 8500 new glass containers.
• Enough colored glass to insulate18 houses.
